A 5.5-metre aluminium electric sloop
The AluShip E-Sloep 550 opens the builder's electric sloop range. It is a low, open day boat for calm inland water, with a hull cut and welded from 5083-grade aluminium in Steenwijk.
The numbers
5.5 m long, 2.10 m in the beam, 570 kg, drawing 0.46 m with an air draught of 1.00 m — low enough for bridges that stop bigger boats. Certified for 6 people, CE design category D. The builder
AluShip is a Dutch aluminium builder in Steenwijk that makes its own hulls. The E-Sloep range runs from this boat to the 9.5 m 950; the E-TNDR tenders and the Bakdekker deck cruisers are the other electric lines.
